by commissioning me, you are agreeing to all of the terms outlined below. please read the terms of service in its entirety before placing an order.

1. general disclaimers

  1. i am a full-time student who is also working part-time. please keep this in mind when placing an order and considering turnaround time.

  2. i reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

  3. i ask that the customer provides visual reference images of the desired subject. if visual references are not supplied, the commission may be declined and/or the customer may be subject to additional charges for a custom design.

2. copyright

  1. i retain full and exclusive rights over any and all commissioned work.

  2. the customer does not hold the right to use the product in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.

  3. the customer does not hold the right to use the product in any AI-related technology, including submitting for datasets, and any future inventions in the space.

  4. i reserve the right to post commissioned work to my social media unless requested otherwise.

  5. i reserve the right to include commissioned work within my portfolio.

  6. any characters portrayed in the commissioned work remain copyrighted to their rightful owners.

  7. all commissioned work is for noncommercial purposes only. the redistribution of my work or use in printed merchandise or as promotion of goods, services or social media pages is prohibited.

  8. the customer is permitted to repost and/or use the commissioned work on their own social media as long as proper credit is given.

3. payment

  1. full payment is required upfront. i will not begin working until the due amount has been paid in full.

  2. pricing and payment is in USD via paypal invoice only.

  3. it is the sole responsibility of the customer to bear any currency conversion costs, bank transfer fees, payment provider service fees and any other costs involved in transferring funds.

  4. payment is expected to be made within 48 hours of the invoice being sent to the customer. if the invoice is not paid within this period of time, the commission will be cancelled.

4. revisions

  1. up to two major revisions can be made during the sketch phase and one major revision can be made during the animation phase. minor revisions can be made at any time.

  2. revisions will be restricted to the current phase that the work is in. for example, during the animation phase, revisions may only be made to the animation, not to the illustration. the customer must approve the illustration before i move onto the animation phase.

  3. any major revisions made after the given amount of revisions in section 4.1 will be subject to additional charges.

5. deadlines and delivery

  1. unless a specific deadline for the project is agreed upon between the customer and i, i will work at my own pace. turnaround time for commissions average between 2-3 weeks.

  2. in the case that something comes up and the commission cannot be completed within this timeframe, i will communicate this to the customer.

  3. the customer may ask for updates at any time. i do ask, however, that you do not repeatedly ask for updates within a short duration of time. i will provide updates when i've completed the sketch, the illustration, and the animation phases.

  4. the customer will receive two versions of their commission: a watermarked version and an unwatermarked version. i kindly ask that if the work is reposted to social media that the watermarked version is used.

6. refund and cancellation policy

  1. i reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission at any time.

  2. if, for some reason, i cancel a commission, the customer will receive a full refund.

  3. the customer may not file a chargeback against me for any reason.

  4. the customer may cancel the commission and request a refund at any point prior to the project's completion. a full refund will be issued only if i have not begun working on the commission. if i am at any point in the working process, i will refund the appropriate amount in accordance to what work is uncompleted.
